Psalm 145

I will extol Thee, my God, O King;
And I will bless Thy name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless Thee,
And I will praise Thy name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise Thy works to another,
And shall declare Thy mighty acts.
One the glorious splendor of Thy majesty,
And on Thy wonderful works, I will meditate.
And men shall speak of the power of Thine awesome acts;
And I will tell of Thy greatness.
They shall eagerly utter the memory of Thine abundant goodness,
And shall shout joyfully of Thy righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
The LORD is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.
All Thy works shall give thanks to Thee, O LORD,
And Thy godly ones shall bless Thee.
They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom,
And talk of Thy power;
To make known to the sons of men Thy mighty acts,
And the glory of the majesty of Thy kingdom.
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Thy dominion endures throughout all generations.

The LORD sustains all who fall,
And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to Thee,
And Thou dost give them their food in due time.
Thou dost open Thy hand,
And doest satisfy the desire of every living thing.

The LORD is righteous in all His ways,
And king in all His deeds.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.
The LORD keeps all who love Him;
But all the wicked, He will destroy.
My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD;
And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

Psalm 93

The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty;
The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength;
Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.
Thy throne is established from of old;
Thou art from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD,
The floods have lifted up their voice;
The floods lift up their pounding waves.
More than the sounds of many waters,
Than the mighty breaker of the sea,
The LORD on high is mighty.
Thy testimonies are fully confirmed;
Holiness befits Thy house,
O LORD, forevermore.

Psalm 90

LORD, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were born
Or Thou didst give birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.

Thou dost turn man back into dust
And say, "Return, O children of men."
For a thousand years in Thy sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
Or as a watch in the night.
Thou hast swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep;
In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.
In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew;
Toward evening it fades and withers away.

For we have been consumed by Thy anger
And by Thy wrath we have been dismayed.
Thou hast placed our iniquities before Thee,
Our secret sins in the light of Thy presence.
For all our days have declined in Thy fury;
We have finished our years like a sigh.
As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years,
Or if due to strength, eighty years,
Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow;
For soon it is gone and we fly away.
Who understands the power of Thine anger
And Thy fury, according to the fear that is due Thee?
So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom.

Do return, O LORD; how long will it be?
And be sorry for Thy servants.
O satisfy us in the morning with Thy lovingkindness,
That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days Thou hast afflicted us,
And the years we have seen evil.
Let Thy work appear to Your servants
And Thy majesty to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;
And confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, confirm the work of our hands.

Psalm 76

God is known in Judah;
His name is great in Israel.
And His tabernacle is in Salem;
His dwelling place also is in Zion.
There He broke the flaming arrows,
The shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war.

Thou art resplendent,
More majestic than the mountains of prey.
The stouthearted were plundered;
They sank into sleep;
And none of the warriors could use his hands.
At Thy rebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both rider and horse were cast into the dead sleep.
Thou, even Thou, art to be feared;
And who may stand in Thy presence when once Thou art angry?

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven;
The earth feared, and was still,
When God arose to judgment,
To save all the humble of the earth.
For the wrath of man shall praise Thee;
With a remnant of wrath Thou shalt gird Thyself.

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;
Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared.
He will cut off the spirit of princes;
He is feared by the kings of the earth.

Psalm 45

My heart overflows with a good theme;
I address my verses to the king;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Thou are fairer than the sons of men;
Grace is poured upon Thy lips;
Therefore God has blessed Thee forever.

Gird Thy sword on Thy thigh, O Mighty One,
In Thy splendor and Thy majesty!
And in Thy majesty ride on victoriously,
For the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
Let Thy right hand teach Thee awesome things.
Thine arrows are sharp;
The peoples fall under Thee;
Thine arrows are in the heart of the King’s enemies.

Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Thy kingdom.
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness;
Therefore God, Thy God, has anointed Thee
With the oil of joy above Thy fellows.
All Thy garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia;
Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made Thee glad.
Kings daughters are among Thy noble ladies;
At Thy right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear;
Forget your people and your father’s house;
Then the King will desire your beauty;
Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.
And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift;
The rich among the people will entreat your favor.

The King’s daughter is all glorious within;
Her clothing is interwoven with gold.
She will be led to the king in embroidered work;
The virgins, her companions who follow her,
Will be brought to Thee.
They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing;
They will enter into the King’s palace.

In place of your fathers will be your sons;
You shall make them princes in all the earth.
I will cause Thy name to be remembered in all generations;
Therefore the peoples will give Thee thanks forever and ever.
